Hello There!

Hi and welcome.
Happy to see you here.

I am Erini (obviously, from the name 😎) and I am here to share with you all about my crochet passion. I learned crochet basics at a very young age. My mom, aunt and teachers had taught me the basic stitches. Then my aunt gave me a book with more versatile and advanced stuff.

I taught myself crochet abbreviations (that was decades before YouTube and Google) and did I mention that the book was in Arabic? That’s my mother tongue, but I was in an English school so reading the abbreviations in Arabic was a bit of a challenge, I have to admit, but I took it and was happy with my progress at that time.Fast forward, internet and digital era (thankfully) where you get to learn from people all over the globe at the comfort of your home. I started learning the terms in English, watched videos, read books, listened to podcasts, anything that is crochet related, I’m definitely in and now I can read patterns and diagrams.
I like to challenge myself with advanced patterns every now and then, but always happy to work on beginner/intermediate projects. It’s all about the journey, not the destination, right?

So I hope you enjoy your stay and keep coming back ðŸ˜Š

    Hi Cindy,
So sorry for the late reply. I have to work on a glitch coz the blog notifications don't show up properly on my email.

I can't express my happiness when I read your comment. You have really made my day.
I confess I was lazy in posting in the past few months but I'm back on track.
I have uploaded a few more tutorials on my YouTube channel which I haven't yet had a chance to write them down but hopefully I can manage to share them with you soon.
In the meantime, feel free to write me any questions or comments. I would also love to see pictures of your work. You can find me on both Facebook and Instagram @eriniscorner . You can also join our Facebook group where we share our patterns and work with fellow crocheters.

Hope you stay safe and keep crocheting!
    Erini
